This Privacy Policy explains how Ichorvalen Inc. ("we", "us") handles information in connection with Exordium — the desktop application and this website.
The app is local-first
Your worlds, maps, characters, timelines, and writing are stored on your own device. Exordium's AI features run locally through Ollama on your machine — your project content is never sent to us or any third party. The app makes an anonymous check for updates and validates your licence offline; it does not transmit your personal data or project content.
Information the website collects
- Account details: if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password, so you can sign in and view your licences.
- Order & licence records: the email associated with a purchase and the licences issued to it, so we can deliver your key and provide support.
- Essential cookies: a sign-in cookie to keep you authenticated. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Payments
Purchases are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited). Paddle collects and processes your payment information under its own Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We use a transactional email provider to send your licence key and account-related messages (for example, password resets). We do not send marketing email without your consent.
Data retention & your rights
We keep account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/tax obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing ichorvalen@exordium.ink.

- Our transactional email and website hosting providers, used solely to operate the service.
